Display advertising
This site carries display ads, served through Journey by Mediavine. They are clearly distinguishable from editorial content and are never placed where they could be mistaken for our checker or state-finder controls, or cause accidental clicks. Ad slots are filled by Mediavine’s partners, not sold by us, so no advertiser can buy a position next to a particular state or answer.
Ads never change the compact-status data. If an ad ever appears somewhere that makes it look like part of our data — or interferes with reading a state page — tell us at hello@compactstates.com and we will move it. Sponsored and affiliate links
Some links may be affiliate or partner links. Those are covered in detail in our affiliate disclosure: they are labeled, carry rel="sponsored", and never affect the compact-status information we publish.
Editorial independence
- Advertisers and partners do not review or approve our compact-status data or explanations.
- We do not sell placement in our checker results or state pages.
- Official board and Nursys links are provided for verification and are never paid.
- We do not publish content that pretends to be independent when it is paid.
