Nurses working out where they can practice: RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and APRNs researching compact status, travel and telehealth assignments, verification, endorsement, moving between states, and renewal. It is a high-intent, career-decision audience — the point in a nurse’s journey where relocation, licensing, and job decisions are actually being made.
Why advertise here
- Relevant, not generic. Every page is about nursing licensure and mobility. There is no off-topic traffic to pay for.
- Independent and trusted. We are not a staffing agency or a board. Our only product is clear, accurate guidance, which is why nurses use us.
- Depth of coverage. CompactStates.com spans 56 jurisdictions, state × license-type pages, verification, travel, telehealth, renewal, comparisons, tools, and original data — nurses arrive from a wide long tail of specific questions.
What is available
Deliberately no rate card and no audience figures on this page. We publish numbers we can stand behind, and a media-kit figure that flatters is the fastest way to lose the kind of sponsor worth having. Ask, and we will send current figures with their source.
- Research sponsorship. Our annual compact report and the open dataset are the assets most often cited and linked. A sponsor is credited on the work; a sponsor never sees it before publication, and never influences a finding.
- Category placement on pages where a commercial answer is genuinely useful — continuing education, travel assignments, professional liability, employer and credentialing workflows. Never on the compact status data, the map, the checker, or any board or Nursys link.
- Display advertising is managed by our advertising partner rather than sold directly, so it is not available as a direct placement.
What we do not sell, at any price: placement in checker results, position in the state data, editorial input, or anything that would make a commercial link resemble an official one.
How we handle commercial relationships
Trust is the asset, so the rules are strict and non-negotiable:
- Sponsored and affiliate placements are always clearly disclosed and marked
sponsored. - They are kept separate from official board and Nursys links, which are never monetized.
- They never sit next to the checker, planner, or other interactive controls.
- We do not publish fabricated endorsements, testimonials, or claims — including about your product.
- We will not misrepresent a commercial link as an official resource.
We are especially open to organizations serving travel nurses, continuing education, nursing education, professional liability coverage, and nursing career platforms.
Reporting
Analytics are available through Google Analytics 4. We share honest, real metrics — we do not inflate or invent traffic, and any figures we provide are drawn from GA4, not estimates. Ads are currently off site-wide; we will discuss formats and timing directly.
