CompactStates.com is an independent reference site. To support the work of keeping it free and up to date, we may include affiliate or partner links to relevant third-party services — for example, nursing continuing-education providers. This page explains exactly how that works.
When we may earn a commission
If we have an active affiliate relationship with a company and you click one of our partner links and then sign up or purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are marked with the browser attribute rel="sponsored" and, where a monetized link appears, we show a short disclosure nearby.
It never changes what we tell you
Compensation does not influence our compact-status data, our checker, or any explanation on this site. We describe whether a state is a compact state, and what a license authorizes, based on official sources — independent of whether a page contains a partner link.
Official verification links are never paid
Links to state boards of nursing and to Nursys / NCSBN are provided for verification only. They are never affiliate links, are not monetized, and are never disguised or redirected. When we point you to an official source, that is exactly what it is.
What we will not do
- We do not rank “best” companies in exchange for payment, or post fake reviews.
- We do not imply that any partner endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with CompactStates.com unless it is true and disclosed.
- We do not hide a link’s destination or use deceptive redirects.
- We do not place partner links near the checker or state-finder controls.
Currently
Affiliate monetization is not active on this site at the time of writing. If and when it is, the disclosures above will apply and monetized links will be labeled. See also our advertising disclosure, privacy policy, and disclaimer. Questions? hello@compactstates.com.
