Could a West Virginia RN license be multistate?
Only if it was issued or upgraded on or after January 19, 2018 — the day the West Virginia RN Board / LPN Board began issuing multistate licenses to West Virginia residents. A license granted before that date was single-state at the time, and it does not become multistate by age or renewal alone. A nurse licensed here for twenty years who has never upgraded will still verify as single-state.
